Made substantial progress on my rpg project in #tic80 today! Started with just a system for animating through sprite frames. Now I have Character objects, an Input -> Action system, and a World/Camera positioning setup.

The mouse cursor in Phobos Down is now always captured while in-game, so you don't accidentally click outside of the window.
I addition to the traditional "unlimited" aiming mode there is an option to force the cursor to stay close to the player. This is something that I prefer because I tend lose the cursor while focusing on the action.

That can be used for Albums which can also have a manual sort order, so you can decide the exact order in which the photos are being presented!

Been fixing a ton of bugs lately, and making grass grow & spread much faster helped a lot (with stuff like grass growing on a build site that has resources being delivered to it, etc).
Interestingly, the grass spread is random but the spread rules (can't have two adjacent grass entities) force it to converge to a close-to-optimal packing
So I'm hoping this dev diary is going to be interesting/informative/helpful: How much did it cost to make Iron Village? I'm hoping that transparency around the money side of things will be helpful.

With every level I gained some experience, what works, what doesn't, items must not be confused with each other, color is not a good way to difference them because of colorblindness, sometimes translation can be tricky, and so on...
