Mark Wyner Won’t Comply :vm:<p>This cute little guy is from the original Super Mario Bros. His name is Goomba in English and Kuribō in Japanese.</p><p>The game takes place in a mushroom kingdom, so he was modeled after Shiitakes. But one developer thought he resembled a chestnut, and called him Kuribō.
