Ich frage die #bahn #bahnBubble und #linux Bubble nach neuen Erkenntnissen: Mein nettes kleines Reise-Notebook (Manjaro Linux), auf dem auch #docker wegen #paperless_ngx läuft, bekommt im #ice kein WLAN. Ich hatte vor 1/2 Jahr komplett Docker deaktiviert, das hat aber auch nichts genützt.

Man findet dazu auch Threads im Internet - hatte irgend ein Linux-Nutzer in letzter Zeit WLAN-Probleme im ICE und konnte diese lösen?

I'm seriously considering switching from Docker Desktop to OrbStack on macOS (arm64) for good.

Anyone who made the switch—mind sharing your experiences?

I mostly use compose.yml for my own setups. Are there any drawbacks or missing features you’ve come across in OrbStack that made you go “wish this was here”?

Unfortunately, I had to switch to #Docker for a personal project of mine because I could not get `podman compose` to work for me, and I ran directly into a problem with my VPN that I did not have with #Podman, which took me quite a while to figure out. The solution was to use `--network host`.

Is there any standard or existing solution for updating #container deployments offline? I'm well aware of docker image save|load, but there's no signature validation or metadata (beyond image tag, labels, etc. included in the image itself). I'm looking for a bundle format to put on a USB disk or similar, possibly holding multiple images. ​:neocat_book:​
