Oops I did it again...

I am looking into custom keyboards and am now at the choice of switches. And I have absolutely no idea except the type of switch I want: linear, not too easy to press (to prevent ghosting), ones that are not too loud / rather silent and support for south-facing RGB / being see-through. (So basically Cherry Reds)
Any tips, ideas or recommendations?

Also: What is the difference between 3-pin & 5-pin switches/keyboards? And are they interchangeable/compatible?
