I ended up with <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/voyager" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>voyager</span></a> recently and it was totally worth of my investment. As usual, <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/zsa" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>zsa</span></a> did it again :-). If your hands are on a smaller size then I strongly recommend looking at <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/voyager" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>voyager</span></a>. This does not seem to be your case I assume ? I love the philosophy of #ZSA. See this article: blog.zsa.io/hopes-and-dreams-f

> We’re not a publicly traded company; we’re not fuelled by venture capital. We’re a small, independent business, and that gives us the freedom to play the long game. My hope is to continue providing this island of stability and positivity called ZSA for many years to come — for the team, for our customers, and for our families.

This is inspiring: Cynthia Zujko manages to work with only the left-hand-side of a #ZSA #Voyager keyboard. Doing both typing and mousing!

And here I am complaining about how I miss an additional row of keys.

ZSA: The PeopleCynthia Zujko | ZSA: The PeopleWho are you, and what do you do? What do you like to do outside of work? Hello, my name is Cynthia, and I am a recovering Binge Coder. I sit…

I hardly ever use my #ZSA #Voyager and default to my Moonlander all of the time. There's just something I cannot make work for me when it comes to the layout. Either I miss the number keys, or I miss the bottom modifier row.

Looking at happy user's layouts, I see how they usually use macro layers a lot more while I try to make accessing numbers and symbols more comfortable with easy to reach layers -- and then still fail to utilize modifier based shortcuts.

Meh.

I love my #zsa #voyager, hands down the best built and most ergonomic keyboard I use.

I'm still bummed that I need to wait for compilation, and flash the firmware whenever I want to try things out.

I've been spoiled by Vial. I hope they can improve this in 2025. 🙏

On my Moonlander, I have Cherry MX Brown switches. I think it was default. It takes a fair amount of force to press each key. I’ve never lubed the switches; I don't know how much of a difference that makes (if any).

But now I'd like to buy new switches. I don't want to be the annoying guy, so no loud, clicky switches. Currently thinking

1. Kailh Silver
2. Kailh Box Red
3. Kailh Copper
4. Kailh Box Brown
5. Cherry MX Silent Red

Which of these have you used and like?
