Years ago, when I was studying for my #COBOL cert, I attended a lunch where Rear Admiral #GraceHopper spoke. I lost my souvenir nanosecond in one of my moves, but I remember the lightbulb moment when she said picoseconds were the size of ground pepper bits.
I'm having a get-off-my-lawn moment. Storage wasn't cheap. It mattered *how* you did things because you were constrained by RAM, and execution time, too.
I'm afraid to look for Hopper on any official website because I don't want to see a 404-compliant page.
