Experimental Ambient is probably the best way to describe most of these tracks, though there's plenty of field recording, electro-acoustics, free improvisation, contemporary classical and dark ambient to give it quite an eclectic character.

Hi All - my new track "Becoming Me" is now out.

Out of the wreckage of a past-life only half-lived comes new life. This is a follow-on from my last track - Painkiller - and is my euphoria, recovery and final relaxation that I am finally able to be who I am.

As usual this was recorded in one take using hardware instruments only, light mastering.

Here is a moment from the larger work in progress, another track drafted in stylistic exploration. As honest as I can be, pulling on these threads of me.

All of what I do has acoustic instruments somewhere, but there is a nice electro-acoustic element to this one, kinda gives it a storybook feel or like the overture for a space opera.

New music, delivery by international post, one from Japan, one from Belgium. Rhucle - Night Coast, Japanese artist, makes ambient style music with found sounds, piano, effects and collaborations with other artists, also does the designs and layout of the physical medium himself. Florence Cats - Shell I, Belgium, field recordings, piano and experimental sounds, just recently found through a bandcamp recommendation.

Yesterday, I made an honest-to-God tape loop, for the first time ever.

I'd upload the video, but I don't feel like taking up 36megs on sfba.social, so you'll have to believe me when I tell you it sounds great. 😃

Hopefully, it (and many other loops) will be included in future releases, at which point I'll jump up and down and yell TAPE LOOPS!

I've wanted to learn how to do this for years.
