Sooo… #devonthink's TCO Iincreased ~5x over the same period of time… I could afford it, but I will not. Over the course of my life I was burnt so much by commercial software that I consider switching to opensource mostly. Luckily, I am a lightweight user, thus not locked in. It was convenient, even if clunky, but I'll do without. I am not infuriated in any way(weirder stuff is going on around us), so good luck!

@amerpie Have you tried #DEVONthink? Iused it daily whenI was working. Have since moved to Obsidian since it meets my current needs. But do give DevonThink a try. It does make a great pdf library, among other things.
