I'm more intrigued as to why the middle aged lady drives from #Leigh on Sea to #Braintree just to get #petrol - she would use more fuel than she saves doing this and would have to sit in #A12 traffic during busy times (maybe she has friends or family there?)
Also she's too young to have been driving around the time when #attendedservice was commonplace (it had already stopped in most areas by the 1970s)

The main impact of the #farmers #protests to me is when I encounter a #tractor on #A14 / #A12 driving at normal speed (which is by necessity and law much slower than a motor car), I am now suspicious even when 90% of the time its very likely to be on the road for genuine #farming purposes around #Suffolk and #Essex (before that I just accepted them as part of the traffic, given I live and work in a semi rural area)
Op de #A12 bij De Meern is een ongeval gebeurd met meerdere auto's. Je hebt één rijstrook minder richting Utrecht. De extra reistijd bedraagt bijna een uur. De berger gaat aan de slag en neemt twee auto's mee. De ander kan zelf verder rijden.

De politie doet nog onderzoek naar de toedracht van het ongeval op de #A12 bij Ede. Wanneer het onderzoek is afgerond moet er asfaltherstel plaatsvinden. We verwachten dat de weg rond 23:00 uur helemaal vrijgegeven is.

There have been *that* many #crashes in #Essex in last few weeks alone my own relatives (who live in SE England) were worried about my safety #driving back through the area after the lunar new year celebration (even though most of the #collisions are in towns/cities rather than on the #A12 highway (although there have been incidents there too). I've seen comments elsewhere (including from #EmergencyServices workers) that bad/reckless driving can be a warning sign of #SocialBreakdown
