fdlamotte<p>I was quite pleased with my worldtime menu for sxmo_gshock so I extracted it as a standalone script for <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/sxmo" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>sxmo</span></a> </p><p><a href="https://git.sr.ht/~fdlamotte/sxmo_wt" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">git.sr.ht/~fdlamotte/sxmo_wt</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p>It just launches a clock for the selected timezone, but its quite handy to be able to pick it from the map thanks to <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/mepo" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>mepo</span></a></p>
fdlamotte<p>Here are the main menus for the sxmo_gshock.py script I&#39;m using on my phone running <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/sxmo" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>sxmo</span></a> </p><p>This script evolved a lot since the last time I wrote about it, I can now get reminders or setup alarms from my calendar using khal and change timezone using <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/mepo" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>mepo</span></a> </p><p>I&#39;d like to keep it simple, so it should not evolve much from now</p>
fdlamotte<p>Just received a T1000-e <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/meshtastic" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>meshtastic</span></a> tracker node</p><p>Of course, i plan to use it as a meshtastic gw for my phone, and some quick tests show it performs quite well for a small device.</p><p>But as GPS seems not to work yet on <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/pixel3a" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>pixel3a</span></a> it will be a good location provider ... I can see my position in gtk-meshtastic-client and I&#39;m baking a small script to feed <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/mepo" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>mepo</span></a> ;)</p><p>I&#39;d also like to feed geoclue, but still need to figure out a simple way to do that, I could forge NMEA, but I saw there was an android gw</p>
fdlamotte<p>For past two weeks, I&#39;ve been working on a script to display weather forecast from openweather in the terminal and integrated it into <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/sxmo" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>sxmo</span></a> and <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/mepo" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>mepo</span></a> </p><p>I&#39;m happy with the result and do not plan to add more features. Don&#39;t hesitate to give it a try and report issues though ...</p><p><a href="https://git.sr.ht/~fdlamotte/OpenWeatherQuery" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">git.sr.ht/~fdlamotte/OpenWeath</span><span class="invisible">erQuery</span></a></p>
fdlamotte<p>Now, instead of making a weather query from mepo, I can also call mepo from my forecast menu to choose a location ;)</p><p><a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/sxmo" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>sxmo</span></a> and <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/mepo" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>mepo</span></a> are so fun and smooth</p><p><a href="https://git.sr.ht/~fdlamotte/OpenWeatherQuery/tree/master/item/sxmo_owq.sh#L74" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">git.sr.ht/~fdlamotte/OpenWeath</span><span class="invisible">erQuery/tree/master/item/sxmo_owq.sh#L74</span></a></p>
fdlamotte<p>I really like <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/mepo" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>mepo</span></a> ...</p><p>Recently I wrote a python script to query openweathermap.org and get forecasts for a given place (to replace wttr.in, which has a limited number of queries). </p><p>Thought it would be fun to write a wrapper to get the forecast from a location in mepo.</p><p>In the end it was not fun to write because too easy ... just a two line script to put in your path ...</p><p>But it surely is fun to use ;) and usefull too ...</p><p><a href="https://git.sr.ht/~fdlamotte/OpenWeatherQuery/tree/master/item/mepo_owq.sh" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">git.sr.ht/~fdlamotte/OpenWeath</span><span class="invisible">erQuery/tree/master/item/mepo_owq.sh</span></a></p>
