Happy #MusiciansDay !

I'm Paul and I make music not just for fun, but also as a way to survive in these dark times.

I love odd time signatures, strange modes, weird scales, and various other bits of theory I've picked up over the years.

Broad genres you'll hear are #ambient #house #drone #soundscape and then a /bunch/ of other stuff I struggle to categorize.

Without #jamuary, I've not made any music this month, but continuing to refine my studio wiring. This is the back of my 4 track analog #tape deck. Each channel its own color for 4 inputs and 4 outputs. Using an Rca to 1/4 inch snake. You can also see in this picture the little red switch (latching push button) in the middle. I added this to switch between 2 and 4 track mode without having to put the special Yamaha reflective sticker on the back window of cassettes. #studio #recording #music

Man, I'm still in a bit of a daze today after #jamuary , what a ride. I've collected everything into this playlist, and all tracks should have downloads enabled, and all files are mp3s with a 320 bitrate.

Hopefully "Revved Up" makes it out of limbo soon, if/when that happens, I'll update the playlist to include it:

#Jamuary2025 summary

As predicted, I couldn't make one track per day, but at least it got me started to make *something*, and also a good opportunity for experimenting.

Here's a playlist of my three favourites. I'll eventually re-record and remix some parts to release them properly, but these raw versions are good enough for me to have listened to on repeat for days on end.
