Il Simone ViaggiatoreCaleta del Sebo, La Graciosa. In questo scorcio vi offro le casette di Caleta del Sebo, e sull sfondo le alte scogliere del Nord di Lanzarote. Qui un piccolo video-guida che ho fatto qualche anno fa: <a href="https://youtu.be/0zbhP5ex6Zg" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://youtu.be/0zbhP5ex6Zg</a> Caleta del Sebo si trova nell'isoletta de La Graciosa, l'unica abitata dell'arcipelago Chinijo, nel nord di Lanzarote. A Caleta del Sebo vivono soltanto 600 persone circa, e di fatto è l'unico paese dell'isola che svolge anche ruolo di capitale, paradossalmente, da quando La Graciosa ha acquisisto lo statuso di isola autonoma delle Canarie non dipendendo più da Lanzarote a livello amministrativo. Regala scorci preziosi, ancora più preziosi pensando a quanto è piccola e sperduta questa comunità. Il Simone ViaggiatoreUno dei luoghi che amo di più a Tenerife: il paesello di Almaciga, in uno degli scenari più belli della zona dell'Anaga. Qui, oltre a questi tramonti spettacolari, si riesce ancora a godere di giornate con poca umanità, visto che la zona è abbastanza remota. Per il bagno, occorre fare qualche attenzione perché le spiagge della zona sono spesso popolate dalle caravelle portoghesi, "meduse" che causano punture molto dolorose. Il Simone ViaggiatoreUna casa ristrutturata nello stile tipico di questo posto, Pozo de Las Calcosas. Questo piccolo borgo si trova sull'isola di El Hierro, alle Canarie, la più remota dell'arcipelago e una delle più remote d'Europa. È costruito all'interno di una piccola baia creata dal crollo dell'enorme scogliera che la sovrasta, e naturalmente dall'erosione dell'oceano. Queste condizioni creano un piccolo mondo fatto di roccia lavica, dove gli abitanti, storicamente hanno potuto mimetizzarsi dalloamguardo di chi solcava i mari, forse anche dai pirati. Il Simone ViaggiatoreSua maestà il Teide. Due anni fa i miei piedi poggiavano sulla lava della più recente eruzione di Tenerife (Isole Canarie). Mi trovavo sul vulcano Chinyero, eruttato nel 1910 per fortuna senza danni. Quell'eruzione ci ricorda che in termini geologici il tempo che ci separa da quell'evento è un battito di ciglia, e il Teide, il vulcano più grande nella foto, prima o poi si sveglierà, speriamo il più tardi possibile.
