Minnesota Spy Club<p>The RYPE mission was successful in its goal to sever the Nordland Railway & prevent 150,000 SS mountain troops evacuating to Germany where they could continue to fight the Allies. Minnesota Spy Club<p>April 14/15, 1945: On this date, the disaster plagued Office of Strategic Services’ NORSO Group that had been inserted into Nazi occupied Norway for Operation RYPE destroyed the Tangen Bridge. 8 days later, the team destroyed 2 1/2 km of nearby railroad track.
