It is odd how cagey various orgs are with the #fediverse - and I think the real issue is #decentralization - not just this network.

Even though a lot of people tout their local credentials - when it comes to connecting with others - even those orgs prefer to have a central place to complain to.

I think it's wider than the Greens. I remember reading that the #FT really tried to set up shop here but went away at the behest of their #lawyers.

I don't know if anything like this happened with the GP but it seems like our legal system is not well set up for decentralization.

If that's true then there's a deeper issue here that needs pulling out from under the carpet an examining.
