It would be reductive, however, to consider him a classic cartoon “villain”, a character that would fit him like a glove, without realizing that this despicable individual is only the product of an economic and social system that marches towards its own self-destruction and that his expansionist aims symbolically summarize those of the system itself.</p><p>Officially entering the field of politics, all this is exemplified in his servility towards Trump, who has placed him in the front row of the reactionary, imperialist, sexist and supremacist offensive underway in the United States. Specifically, as a reward for his billionaire support for the electoral campaign, the newly elected president has awarded his favorite Dark Maga the leadership of DOGE, an ad hoc body that has quickly busied itself on cuts and reforms aimed at directly or indirectly affecting that slice of the population that is recognized by the new elite as “surplus”.</p><p>As for the companies he manages or founded, however, there are many examples to give</p><p>Neuralink is a startup that aims to create a system of neural interfaces that connect the human brain with artificial intelligence; he claims to have implanted his first brain chip, called Telepathy, in January 2024. The transhumanist dream that becomes reality, the utopia of the suppression of the “defective” components of humanity through human-machine integration, the creation of those efficient gears that technocratic capitalism has and will always badly need.</p><p>OpenAI, a company founded by Musk as an artificial intelligence research laboratory, has produced the first famous chatbot in history: ChatGPT. After abandoning its leadership due to a potential conflict of interest with its role in the development of AI for self-driving Teslas in 2023, he founded a rival startup, xAI, which has the stated purpose of training a generative artificial intelligence chatbot (Grok) that automatically learns to respond racistly, against the woke culture of which ChatGPT would be an expression.<br>In turn, through xAI Musk has recently purchased the X platform himself, the former instant messaging service called Twitter, well exemplifying the use of social media as a tool for algorithmic manipulation of public opinion for the most vulgar political purposes, as well as revealing in a now indisputable way the use of social media as an inexhaustible source of data for the use and consumption of AI BigTechs.</p><p>Not forgetting SpaceX and its (apparently crazy) prospects of interplanetary colonialism, which lay the foundations for the continuation of the plunder that this system will need even once the stocks of the planet we live on are exhausted: a company that, at the moment, seems to be becoming richer and more powerful even than NASA. Its best-known product is the Starlink satellite system, which, in addition to filling low Earth orbit with technological garbage, aims to guarantee internet connection even in the absence of infrastructure on Earth. These artificial constellations, therefore, are becoming an essential tool for armies in theaters of war; Starlink is in fact thriving by providing its services to the Ukrainian and Israeli armies, making itself complicit in massacres and genocides of today and tomorrow.</p><p>Finally, we conclude with Tesla, the famous company of hyper-technological electric cars, the status symbol par excellence of the rich techno-fascists of all latitudes, the emblem of the ecological lie that aims to electrify the planet, destroying it definitively in the name of profit. Tesla itself, with its 8 continuous cameras mounted on each car and its interconnected devices for (future) automatic driving, combined with the work of Musk’s lesser-known companies, Hyperloop and The Boring Company (respectively, they deal with the development of a futuristic high-speed transport system and an underground tunnel project to reduce traffic) participates in the totalitarian urban control plan of Smart Cities, A dystopian project that, thanks to the development of digital infrastructure, aims to make urban life a constant flow of data.</p><p>Techno-fascism, transhumanism, artificial intelligence, the conquest of space, war, technological surveillance and the destruction of the planet: do we need more reasons to attack Elon Musk’s interests anywhere and at any time?</p><p>For these and many other reasons, on the night between 30 and 31 March, we decided to welcome spring too, on a cold night… heated by the fire of 17 cars in the only Tesla dealership in Rome. Because we claim to be those flaws that the project of characters like Musk would like to eradicate.</p><p>In a world of fiber optic cables and pylons, let’s plant the seed of rebellion, because the only thing that really makes sense, in the scenario that lies ahead of us, is to fight tooth and nail, until<br>at the last breath, for freedom.<br>Because the only Tesla we like is the one that burns…. Justice for Abisay!</strong></p><p>On Monday night, April 14th, anarchists entered Collège de Maisonneuve, which hosts the police training program, <em>Techniques policières</em>. The entrance was painted with “MINI COPS = FUTURE KILLERS” and “JUSTICE FOR ABISAY CRUZ” as well as other tags like “3 STATE MURDERS IN 24H” and “MAKE FASCISTS AFRAID”. A fire extinguisher filled with paint was very helpful, and a window was smashed. We do not forget the murders and abuses committed by the Montreal police over the last few weeks; readers, please spread the popular vengeance. To the students of the <em>Techniques policières</em> program: drop out and change paths, it is not a safe future, neither for us, nor for you. This program trains people who will be the future of state violence. The police is a force that punishes the poor, immigrants and racialized people, that beats and shoots protesters, that arrests and kills people like flies. This society is sick and the sickness is capitalism, the State, and hierarchy, and the guardians of this terrible social order are the police. We will never forget the injustices committed against us. MikeDunnAuthor<p>Today in Labor History April 22, 1996: Peace activists Tom & Donna Howard-Hastings celebrated Earth Day 1996 by cutting down three power poles in Clam Lake, Wisconsin, preventing the launch of the U.S. Navy's first-strike nuclear submarine. They stapled an indictment against nuclear war to one of the poles and signed it "with disarming love, Tom & Donna." The district attorney charged them with criminal damage to property and sabotage. However, a jury found them not guilty of sabotage. This was just the fourth time in 16 years that members of the Plowshares antinuclear movement were acquitted of such charges. From 1980-1995, there had been 57 trials of antinuclear activists on sabotage charges.
