I consulted searx to see if it might turn up any record of Poilievre talking about Canada's copy of the DMCA (he was in government when it happened) but instead what I found was this recently passed private member's bill: https://www.parl.ca/DocumentViewer/en/44-1/bill/C-244/royal-assent

Far as I know it didn't get a whole lot of coverage in the news media but Collision Repair Magazine seems to like it.
