I was amused to see that @pluralistic used the ActivityPub/Mastodon username format in his pluralistic.net blog post when he mentioned the EFF. (Literal quote below, I did not do the at-mention.)

@dblume @eff A typo - fixed now (I manually produce three different versions - first a twitter version, then a masto version where I search for every @ and look for Masto equivs or replace with real names if none exist, then a blog version where I search for @ again and turn all Masto handles into real names for the blog version).
@pluralistic That makes sense and reveals how accommodating you are to your various audiences. The effort is appreciated.
