If you are a Unix nerd and wish you spend less time using your mouse while watching flashy colors, I recommend that you give Offpunk a try:
I’m trying to make it easier to get started with offpunk. Feedbacks and discussions are welcome on the mailing-list :
https://lists.sr.ht/~lioploum/offpunk-users
or on the fediverse, using the #offpunk hashtag. Or on your blog. That would be awesome to read blog posts about people using offpunk
@ploum does it have a js engine to render dynamic websites?
@jonn : no and, suprizingly, it works a lot better than you would expect. It is even a feature.
See that post on the forevercomputer mailing-list:
@ploum Looks rad. When there is an appimage/flatpak/rpm install option I'll give 'er a shot.
@fiend_unpleasant : afaik, flatpak doesn’t play well with cli options.
RPM packaging is welcome! (there’s a list dedicated to packagers)
But offpunk doesn’t need any installation:
git clone && ./offpunk.py
@w : don’t hesitate to ask on the user mailing-list.
Also, there’s now a tutorial (which is the website), something that didn’t exist months ago.
Just type "tutorial" in it.
