#Windows11 sleep continues to be bat-shit crazy.

Sometimes it will sleep whilst in the middle of a process, breaking said process.

Sometimes it will wake from sleep if you so much as breath on the mouse.

Sometimes it won't sleep even though it is idle.

Sometimes if you tell it to sleep, it will immediately wake and sign you back in.

I find the best solution is to shut it down, turn it off at the mains and never boot it up again.

Frage zu einer Installation von #Windows11: Systemsteuerung System Info sagt #242H2, Updateverlauf Funktionsupdates sagt als letztes 23H2.

Browsen ist immer mal wieder nicht möglich. Kann man eigentlich so nicht mit arbeiten, wenn das www benötigt wird. Das Notebook von HP lief anfangs zuverlässig mit Win11.

Ideen?

@SecurityWriter I might need to put Windows Server back on my Laptop because #Windows11 is starting to become a joke.

I let my machine's bios update last year, which broke itself, and I had to reinstall Windows, which worked fine, but than it instantly applied the latest driver updates and broke itself for the second time in two days. And the only way to get everything operation was to reinstall again but only after I reverted the bios back to a previous version.

As a workaround I disabled driver installation, but did Windows care? It fucking didn't.

I just had a meeting disrupted three times today, because it started to install driver updates again which should be disabled.

It's a freaking mess.

My other machine - a custom built desktop - managed to completely forgot all the drivers which I installed for the motherboard and I had to manually install the drivers again.

WTF?!

J'ai des popups qui viennent de je ne sais pas quel services pour me demander accès à ma position et au micro (c'est un popup Microsoft hein), et j'ai du taper des commandes "netsh" pour que WSL ait une connexion Internet. Et on me dit que c'est grand public et facile... Et bé...
