Preparing to glue my plotter housing, which have some none-square angles. I'm using bits and peaces from the scrap box, glue is going to be bio epoxy. This is the final housing I hope, after three cardboard and one plywood models.
I'm really an #amateur at this, but I do have #fun. Huge thanks to my friend Jesper, who has the skills and tools (like a tablesaw and such) to prepare the pieces 
(The plotter housing will sit on the top of the boat roof, protecting the chart plotter and it's wiring)
I was thinking of buying a new-to-me #Thinkpad next month, but I think what I'll do instead is try to spruce up my #PinebookPro:
I need to look up some videos on applying threadlocker to screws. It's much looser stuff than the typical locktite and it tends to make a mess.
I'm debating just dribbling locktite (regular CA) on top of the screws as well to try to make them a little more permanent. Not a great solution, but the thing just loves to fall apart.

Years ago when I had more time my friends and I used to organise lots of dorky little activities together. Boardgame days and a Yuri's night party and writing nights and little craft sessions.
Lately I've been longing to do more of it. Cycling around with my kiddo today I was daydreaming about Raccoon Rides: to ride around as a group and see how many cool things we can salvage from the verge collection before they get picked up and smushed into landfill.

To me it's just that #ThinkPad as a brand has really died as every single Device is a #downgrade in #repairability & #upgradeability compared to my #X230Tablet:
They have #SolderedDownRAM even on P-Series #Workstation machines, not just cheap cheap #Lenovo consoomer devices.
Batteries ain't toolfree-swappable anymore!
#WWAN modules are worse (i.e. #Fibocom #850GL aka. #Intel #XMM7360)
#Linux support gets worse and neither Lenovo nor @ubuntu feel responsible on a "#Ubuntu-certified Workstation" (i.e. #P15v)
Less & Worse #Docking options.
Most machines don't offer Linux or to eveb to opt-out of #Govware noone should pay their overcharged premium for (in fact #Microsoft pays Lenovo $25 for every #Windows #preinstall so they don't ship Linux, they don't even pay the $10 for an #OEM-#UEFI-Key, much less the $135+ of a #SystemBuilder version they charge for!)

Personally, I wish I had €.€€€.€€€ so I could just develop the #NUCbook and be done with the #Enshittification of #Laptops / #Notebooks!

Eben entdeckt. In einen im Herbst neu angelegten Teilbereich ziehen schon bodennistende Wildbienen ein.
Hinter einer zu zwei Drittel eingegrabenen Badewanne (#reuse) als #Sumpfwanne wurde mit Schotter, Steinen und einer dicken Schicht Natursand (ungewaschen) aufgefüllt. Nur wenige Pflanzen gesetzt. Der Boden darf gerne relativ frei bleiben. Irgendwas zwischen #Sandarium und #Trockenbeet wirds wohl sein.

To #repurpose an old #Kindle e-ink e-reader you would usually require it's root password.
This tool is a single web page that uses #javascript (running locally) to compute the root password for your device from it's serial number (located on the device's settings page). There is also a link to the original #Python script that this tool is derived from.
