#Megalodon’s body shape was closer to a lemon #shark
Shimada et al concluded, because the trunk section of Belgian specimen measured 11m, the head and tail were probably about 1.m and 3.6m long, respectively, with a total body length of 16.4m (54ft) for this particularly specimen. That means the Danish megalodon specimens could have been as long as 24.3m (80ft). As for body shape, taking new length estimates into account, #lemonshark appears to be closest modern analogue.

Is there a way to not see boosts from people you follow on the feed? I keep getting fed content that are anxiety and rage inducing. I don't want to unfollow my follows as they're generally lovely people. Also, my filters don't seem to work on boosts?

Ps: I use #Megalodon

Update: Thank you, everyone! Thanks to your tips I found the controls to hide the boosts. It was hidden in some tab and I had to scroll down. Thing is, I am pretty sure I did this in the past and somehow it got unchecked...

Merkwürdig, ich kann den Beitrag (und andere DLF-Beiträge) nicht via Mastodon abspielen.
Der Link zur DLF-Seite ist korrekt, auch der generierte Link zum Audioplayer funktioniert, wenn ich ihn direkt im Browser aufrufe:

Ich nutze #Mastodon via Webfrontend, aber via App #Megalodon geht das Abspielen auch nicht.

Edito: he après quelcom que no sabia, és la política de Google qui obliga als desenvolupadors: si afegeixen registre en les seves apps també han d'afegir poder esborrar el compte però l'API no permet això darrer.

Tech ppl! My #Moshidon push notifications have stopped working (Android 13). I run #Megalodon on another phone, push Nots work fine. I have 2 #Mastodon accts in both apps.

2ndary issue: my other acct (on lor.sh) has a permanent mark as read icon in the app notifications panel which prevents the number of new Nots showing on the icon in the bottom menu. This is in both apps (different phones).

Both issues began to happen after I installed #ntfy to test #Fedilab Nots. I have uninstalled both.

#Tech issue with #Mastodon #notifications, on #Moshidon and #Megalodon.

My lor.sh acct notifications 'mark all as read' icon (double tick) gets stuck and means all notifications come in as read and don't show either the little number at the bottom or unread highlighted. It isn't any master setting afaics. It goes away if I log out everywhere, then log in again at first it's gone, then it comes back. It affects both apps. Push notifications work as normal.
