Empezamos con una presentación el viernes en La Raposa para arrancar con dos dias de festejos, música, libros, ferias, un monólogo, bingo, comida deliciosa y brindis para juntarnos todes en la calle Tapioles.

Emergency Response Rooms are local mutual aid networks that have been sustaining
the Sudanese people since the beginning of the brutal war between the Sudanese
Armed Forces (SAF) and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in April 2023.
Thousands of volunteers across 700+ ERRs run communal kitchens, provide medical
care, repair water and electricity lines, evacuate civilians, and more.
According to the UN, over 4 million people have received aid through ERRs.
They're an incredible example of large-scale mutual aid, participatory
democracy, and solidarity economy infrastructure born out of resistance
movements. At the same time, ERRs continue operating in extremely dangerous and
violent conditions, and volunteers are doing the absolute most with limited
resources.
Due to the USA’s new external aid policy, 80% of these community kitchens had to
shut down - leaving thousands of families facing starvation.
