A busy day was had today!

For the first time ever, I took the huge step in finally recapping my A1200. I've been scared to do this for years, but I previously recapped a Mac Classic logic board's surface mount capacitors successfully and so I thought... Why not?!

Well, it's not a pretty job but it works! The through-hole caps were the most troublesome. Surface mount is much easier.

All recapped and working perfectly for the future!

I need a momentary button switch (a reset button) that can solder into one of these through-hole pairs, more often used for jumper pins. I can't find any with simply through pins - such buttons always have the rounded fin connectors with an in-bored hole.

Anyone know where I can find such a button? Thanks.

The thing about "features" is that they aren't linear, they form a tree: *every* technical artifact--hell, every *line* of code--both satisfies some demands and (often) creates new ones.

Deciding which branches to follow, which to prune and when to do both is complex and ever-changing as the delivery system cycles demands...

Much of what's wrong with "product thinking" and "agile" today can be explained as a consequence of placing this responsibility in the hands of folks that neither understand this, nor are accountable to those who do.

I have a large pile of old laptop 2.5" HDD drives (NOT SSD) in varying GB sizes. I think I might do something mad with them and build a 20 drive (or more) RAID NAS.

The only thing I need really, is 20 port (or more) SATA PCI-E card... Does such a thing exist?
