@hadriscus Thanks. Yes, we were a team of three youngsters, an Assembly coder, a music composer and a graphic artist / game designer (me). We made two music editors for the #Amiga, named SIDmon and Digital Mugician. Ramon made the tunes for our games and demos in our own editors.

@woe2you Ah, yes, the Turrican II title tune is also one of my favorites. It was made with the TFMX music editor, which featured a similar technique as our Digital Mugician, adding three audio channels via CPU power, instead of the usual splitting of the four channels, which resulted in halved audio quality.

Following my previous post, here's a second recording of an army game demo tune by our former #Amiga game team's musician Ramon Braumuller.

In the previous recording, the drums have an unintended reverb effect. In this version, the drums are correct, but there's a short glitch at 6 seconds. 😅

As a youngster in the late 1980s, I formed an #Amiga game dev team with two partners.

Before making games, we tried to sell low-RAM game music, made with our own music editor called SIDmon.

To promote our music, an army game style tune was composed by our musician Ramon Braumuller. The original file is only 42 kilobytes, Including sampled sounds.
