@hadriscus Thanks. Yes, we were a team of three youngsters, an Assembly coder, a music composer and a graphic artist / game designer (me). We made two music editors for the #Amiga, named SIDmon and Digital Mugician. Ramon made the tunes for our games and demos in our own editors.
Yet another beauty taken down by a Varta battery—truly the destroyer of retro tech. Let this be your reminder: always remove those ticking time bombs with great prejudice. With any luck, this #Amiga 3000T will rise again... sometime around 2061. #CommodoreRepair #VintageComputer

@woe2you Ah, yes, the Turrican II title tune is also one of my favorites. It was made with the TFMX music editor, which featured a similar technique as our Digital Mugician, adding three audio channels via CPU power, instead of the usual splitting of the four channels, which resulted in halved audio quality.
Here's the 7-voice intro tune for our 1992 Amiga game Hoi:
Für „nur“ knapp dreihundert D-Mark erhielt man Ende der 1980er ein Jahr lang monatlich die Diskette zu einer der Computer-Zeitschriften des Markt&Technik-Verlags.
Das finde ich ja heute noch teuer.
Following my previous post, here's a second recording of an army game demo tune by our former #Amiga game team's musician Ramon Braumuller.
In the previous recording, the drums have an unintended reverb effect. In this version, the drums are correct, but there's a short glitch at 6 seconds.

As a youngster in the late 1980s, I formed an #Amiga game dev team with two partners.
Before making games, we tried to sell low-RAM game music, made with our own music editor called SIDmon.
To promote our music, an army game style tune was composed by our musician Ramon Braumuller. The original file is only 42 kilobytes, Including sampled sounds.

Terrorpods, the first Psygnosis game I played
In addition to anecdotes about the games, I see there will also be interviews.
Can't wait for the book!
Breaking! Technical difficulties at @revisionparty ! Hope they just need an extra @AMIGAAAAAAA or something.
Having played quite a few Psygnosis games on Atari ST and Amiga, I had to back this book dedicated to the company
What's more, a T-shirt is offered!
Wardner - Toaplan/Taito's Arcade game is coming to the #Commodore #Amiga via RetroRic [UPDATE] https://www.indieretronews.com/2025/03/wardner-toaplantaitos-arcade-game-is.html
Even after 40 years, #AmigaOS proves it was truly innovative, and ahead of its time...
If you leave an empty USB floppy drive connected to Windows 10 /11, you get constant random drive seeks much like the Amigas famous 'drive click'...
Finally remembered to post last week's stream on the ole Tube. Got some of the level randomization in but it's done in the tool pipeline for now.
Demoscene: Compression optimization
Alexander Grupe describes on his website, how he saves a few bytes in the boot block in order to have more space for demoscene productions.
"The Hobbitron Chronicles" is a point-and-click version of the text adventure Adventure 3 created with Scala MM400. Accordingly, the Scala Player (or Scala) is required to play the game.
Inofficial successor: Action Replay 5 DeMoN cartridge
An improved Action Replay cartridge for the Amiga 500 and WinUAE has been developed using reverse engineering. The hardware component is DeMoN, the software is called Action Replay 5.
