The following month I got a VPS, installed YH in less than 5 minutes, and everything just worked...I am on Mastodon already <a href="https://mastodon.social/@_elena" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@_elena</a> and I was hesitating between installing <a href="https://aseachange.com/tags/friendica" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Friendica</a> and <a href="https://aseachange.com/tags/sharkey" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Sharkey</a>. But people recommended <a href="https://aseachange.com/tags/gotosocial" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#GoToSocial</a> because it's really lightweight and features-packed. That's what I did - and I'm very happy about it.

It use Softaculous to install apps. But I think to host my own Federated social app. And this panel doesn't support any ActivityPub apps. It turns out the first time I tried to self-host Ghost via <a href="https://aseachange.com/tags/yunohost" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#YunoHost</a> was January 20th (that’s when I installed it on my Debian VPS). So not that long ago. But it does feel like 84 years LOL.My latest obstacle was a frozen Mailgun account because they flagged me as a spammer the first time I tried to send a blog post as a newsletter.My account has been fully reinstated (as of Friday evening) so hopefully things will go smoothly now.Triple-checking Mailgun <-> Ghost configurations is not my ideal way to spend a Sunday morning, but I should take advantage of my parents looking after my little one. Je n'ai pas encore eu le temps de regarder mais je commence à me demander si ça veut pas la peine de faire une nouvelle installation et migrer mes données dessus pour repartir sur une base saine... Je pense que j'ai déjà fait deux passage de version de Debian sur ce serveur.Un avis?

J'ai appris des sigles qui envoient du lourd comme "SSH" et "reverse DNS"C'est a la portée de n'importe qui capable de se concentrer 2-3 h sur un tuto à lire.Pour les curieux, j'ai pris un VPS chez OVH, en me disant que si je me plantais, je ne perdais que qques €.Par contre, on est d'accord que le réseau ait sauté à mon domicile à la première commande SSH, c'est une coïncidence... ? (J'ai fini sur la 4G...)
