As llms are able to beat one test, exam, benchmark after the other, yet still struggle in real world use cases, what does it tell us?

Maybe it is time to reflect on the way we test knowledge and intelligence in our schools and unis and assess if it is usefull in the real world.

What and how should we teach students?
I think the school and study system in many countries is extremely bad and puts too much pressure on children/students, for very little (or negative?) results in the real world.

And good luck finding one that has still has any good professors, as more and more of them are leaving the U.S. and taking jobs in countries that still have academic freedom. That includes 75% of U.S. scientists recently polled in the journal Nature who are considering leaving the country due to the disruptions and uncertainty caused by Trump's slashing of science and research budgets.

And even if you do find a school that still permits free speech and academic freedom, good luck finding one that won't put you into debt for the next 40 years. Today, over half of all college students in the U.S. graduate with significant debt, averaging $29,000 per borrower.
