A few days ago I received a text from "Boston Dental" in downtown Boston, a "friendly reminder that you are due for your dental cleaning."
I haven't used Boston Dental since so long ago that I didn't remember _ever_ using them until I went and looked it up in my bookkeeping software. It's been at least a decade.
I texted back and told them that, and asked for an explanation of how this happened and how many other people they did this to.

It's a large #political action day in the US & the world - Have your mobile devices switched off or leave them at home to avoid being caught in dragnet #surveillance.

Keep them off for the complete journey - before and after. If you must use your mobile, be diligent in your efforts to protect yourself:

- Encrypt your device
- Have it pin-locked
- Disable #biometric logons
- Disable #Bluetooth
- Disable location services
- Carpool

I just found out about #flock and #ALPR. You can use #deflock to see where some of these cameras are.

I found several near me, some in peoples backyards right outside their door. So whenever they leave their house they're immediately being recorded by the police and whoever else.

We raised concerns about the privacy and security of canvassing apps used by the Parties, and raised the question of whether voters’ data is being used unlawfully.

The Data Bill risks making the situation worse by granting Ministers powers to change the rules in a way that sidesteps Parliament.

Our briefing shows how Henry VIII powers in the UK Data Bill will allow Ministers to change the law without proper Parliamentary scrutiny.

This threatens electoral integrity when the Party in office could fiddle the rules over the use of voter data at a time of their choosing, giving them an advantage – for example to allow practices that the ruling Party was ready to deploy.
