So the M4 is powered by my Pixel 8 and that little discovery pulled me right back into the MicroFreak’s weird and wonderful world. I love how you can tweak up to four parameters per sequencer step. Threw in some gritty filter movement with the cyclic envelope and played the bass live. Some Alesis Nanoverb on top.</p>
mvu<p>I've got <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/BespokeSynth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BespokeSynth</span></a> rigged up to take inputs from <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/Orca" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Orca</span></a>, my <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/MicroFreak" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MicroFreak</span></a>, and a <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/Midi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Midi</span></a> controller -- I've got a handful of free VSTs, everything's flowing.</p><p>Nothing I've made with this configuration sounds good yet, but it all *feels* right. I've got the vibe down, now I just need to figure out my sound.</p>
mvu<p>Since I started playing with music-y stuff last year there's been a synth sound in my head I've been trying to make and all the VSTs and bitwig builtins couldn't scratch the itch but I goddamn made it myself with the <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/microfreak" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>microfreak</span></a> today and IM SO SATISFIED</p><p>It turns out it's a super basic sound to make actually, I think the physical knobs just help with the experimentation process.</p>
CyberGwen<p>Some <a href="https://social.bitwig.community/tags/sound" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sound</span></a> <a href="https://social.bitwig.community/tags/studio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>studio</span></a> timeline updates. I've added an LED strip to the back of the table, started setting up three cameras for recordings and later live streams. And two pics of a bunch of synths (<a href="https://social.bitwig.community/tags/MicroFreak" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MicroFreak</span></a>, <a href="https://social.bitwig.community/tags/minilogue_xd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>minilogue_xd</span></a>, <a href="https://social.bitwig.community/tags/dfam" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>dfam</span></a>, <a href="https://social.bitwig.community/tags/neutron" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>neutron</span></a> and a few others) that I'll use soon™.</p>
mvu<p>Instrument shop had an in-store 0% financing sale this weekend so I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/Microfreak" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Microfreak</span></a> as my first (hardware) synth!</p><p>Used up some lieu time to go pick it up and spend the day learning it.... aaand it looks like it won't arrive in-store till Monday after the financing deal is over ;_;</p><p><a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/synth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>synth</span></a></p>

rougepied<p>Ok.
