There are 5 gigantic publishers: Penguin Random House, Macmillan, Simon & Schuster, Hachette, & HarperCollins. 4 of them signed a letter urging the US Congress to undo the Trump/Musk cuts to libraries. Only HarperCollins didn’t sign the letter. Rupert Murdoch, who owns Fox so-called News, also owns HarperCollins.
