I got impatient and bought #gladiator2 on appleTV instead of waiting for the disc. It's good enough that i don't think that I will need the disc. Picture quality is excellent and the atmos sound is very atmospheric (is that a word?)., The bass is a little light but Shane Lee noticed the same in his review of the Kaleidescape version so it is probably a deliberate choice that it is to sound like that on #homecinema
BTW: it is one of those appletv movies that sound better when played on Nvidia Shield or any other device with direct audio passthrough. Edit: The difference is not so great though

I looked into this some more. It appears that to find out if the zidoo will really work for me i need the answer to a question, that can only be answered by buying the damn thing. And since everything in my setup works the way i want it to right now, i will leave it alone.

It is only a dream. The Nvidia Shield/emby + AppleTV solution i have right now works quite well, and the money will probably be better spent by saving towards a better TV.

Aujourd'hui 1er décembre, comme tout les ans, c'est Tetris géant dans le salon pour trouver une belle place pour le sapin de #Noel.

I just wathced The Terminator 4k on AppleTV last night. It looks and sounds great! That screenshot with the sunglasses everyone is posting is exaggerated. It is a shot of a tiny fraction of a part of the frame that is slightly out of fucus and it looked much better on my tv. you could se her eyes behind the sunglasses #4k #terminator #Homecinema #movies
I just noticed that if you have Blazing Saddles on AppleTV, you just got an upgrade to 4k and Dolby Atmos.
