In honor of Trans Day of Visibility, here’s something really cool for you to know…
A computer scientist trans woman by the name of Sophie Mary Wilson was a co-creator of the ARM architecture.
More about Sophie:

Great video on the history of ARM, which is computer science geeky stuff (sorry about YT):

Looking forward to learning more about this libre-licensed RISC-V SoC with Kazan GPU and VPU.

I'm really curious how these types of chips are prototyped. I know we can simulate a few hundred thousand logical operations with an FPGA, but is that even close to simulating a powerful chip of this size?
Someone said to me they would better buy a PS5Pro instead of a powerful PC for their games.
Game catalogue and flexibility aside, how a PS5 Pro could be better than a PC for the same price?
I cannot find a PC at $800 that is reasonably better than the PS5 Pro. Just an RX 6700 costs around $400.
If you are on the fence about installing #Linux to replace your #Windows install let me tell you the installation process is a lot more simpler than you might think.
Things get a little more complicated (just slightly) if you have #BitLocker volumes but Linux can now mount BitLocker volumes too!
If you have an #Nvidia #GPU things there's only one extra step.
There's also #CrossOver which is a VERY user-friendly commercial version of #Wine which lets you install and run Windows apps and games (complete with 3D acceleration).
The best time for ditching Windows for Linux was last year. The second-best time for ditching Windows for Linux is today.

So my research and development is bearing fruit:
Today I tried out using my new physarum force with SDF-text in the form of our Media·Art studios name https://UrbanFlow.art
And together with several other forces this turned out beautiful!

One of the best interviews on AI and GPUs I've every seen was posted earlier today. Jensen Huang is really super smart in my opinion, and I think this interview is definitely worth watching. I can understand how it was a person like him who turned NVIDIA into a company with a market cap more than 1 trillion USD.
