Why do the French leave a space when using an exclamation mark or question mark?
@DC7IA I don't know the exact reason (which is probably historical) but I find it more readable and beautiful.
And to be precise, it is recommanded to use, instead of a normal space, a slightly shorter one ("espace fine insécable", Unicode U+202F).
