Is there anyone using ? The concept of decentralized communication looks very interesting.

I wanted to try it but I couldn't get the damn thing to work. Tox on the other hand works fine, but doesn't allow syncing messages and contacts across devices. Each device is essentially a new user.

Was unaware, until further investigation revealed this product was known as 'gnu ring' and personal opinion, was rejected because of the name. Open source people must do a better job of brand names...We also have matrix (example mobile client, Who knows if these systems are compatible with each other?

I use it, it works nicely even between computers with different OS. The calling computer acts as the host, you need it to have good internet access and hardware capabilities.
