20 years ago, having notifications on a Linux desktop was a challenge. Today, I can't disable them. What piece of software should I remove to disable completely *all* notifications like those? I also have "reminders". (and yes, notifications are disabled in GNOME settings).

@Bromind : thanks. Unfortunately, I can't remove libnotify without breaking the whole system !
@ploum Maybe there exists a daemon that does nothing that could replace your daemon. Maybe dunst with an ad-hoc configuration.
