At the #swib19 Cocoda workshop, @nichtich recommends to set up a OpenRefine Reconciliation Endpoint for your vocabularies because it then can be used both with @coli_conc and with @OpenRefine. This shows, why reconciliation standards make sense (see w3.org/community/reconciliatio).

V pleased to say this includes OpenRefine - so looking forward to working on this. We're going to be working to attract new contributors by improving documentation, and implementing a new data model to improve the scalability, transparency, and reproducibility of OR workflows.

We wrote up two examples for using additional properties in our #GND reconciliation service for #OpenRefine to improve reconciliation results blog.lobid.org/2019/09/30/open

We also significantly improved the matching in the #OpenRefine reconciliation endpoint for #GND. So don't be surprised that now much more candidates will be automatically matched.

"The project has also been a great opportunity to test what OpenRefine, Wikidata’s Query Service and ArcGIS Online are capable of by pushing them to their limits. The results have been very impressive with OpenRefine being a great software for uploading edits to Wikidata" twitter.com/emcandre/status/11

We have improved our GND reconciliation service for OpenRefine by implementing the OpenRefine suggest API for searching types, properties, and entities blog.lobid.org/2019/08/19/open
