"Labour Party adopts IER sectoral collective bargaining plan"
About time. The minimum wage figure got all the press but asking the government to facilitate a collective agreement for lorry drivers seems an easy way to find out whether they're serious about raising wages. Johnson is so brazen that he could pull it off and make it look like some newfangled invention allowed by #Brexit, rather than something the Tories have spent half a century destroying. JFDI!
Yet for some reason I can't find a single trade union in #UK asking for it. Not even http://www.urtu.com/our_aims . One union is too busy asking for more environmental destruction with #HS2: https://www.tssa.org.uk/news-and-events/tssa-news/ditching-hs2-eastern-leg-would-be-foolhardy-and-myopic-betrayal .
Mentions of collective agreements are found only in statements by workers from EU countries.
