Fedi should have a Pub Chat hashtag that you can use to pour yourself a drink and just talk bollocks and it saves you having to go out to a real pub and meet real people.
You know, it's a way to invite someone else for a drink and post a bit of bollocks to each other.

You know, (+ I think you do) #PubChat is all very well, but do you ever think about how your life might be, had the internet not been invented? What are you NOT doing when you ARE doing "social" media?

@kino Well, we all waste too much time on social media. Some people however, are on it all day, posting relentlessly.
I don't know how they find the time.

Maybe David Graeber offered some insight into how they find the time, he continues:
"Instead, the situation has sparked an efflorescence of social media [..]: basically, of forms of electronic media that lend themselves to being produced and consumed while pretending to do something else."
So that's time. I still don't know how they find the motivation.
I spent my life in the Pub back in the day. Those were good times, we certainly were not pretending to be doing something else
