I have two Alpacas and a Great Pyrenees guard dog that must remain together. Before the end of summer, I have to re-home them as we are leaving the farm and farming in general. We're in the USA in upstate New York and do not have a livestock trailer. If you're interested in these animals, DM me for details.
If science fiction/fantasy is not for you, it's not for you. But if you liked the idea but gave up on it because it was the province of straight white men, let me recommend you take another look: the Hugo and Nebula award candidates are full of amazing stuff like N. K. Jemisin's Stone Sky series, Yoon-Ha Lee's Machineries of Empire, Aliette de Bodard's The Tea Master and the Detective, and Naomi Novik's Spinning Silver.

Mention of alcohol ; Story of Canada
My friend and I had an idea for a podcast of weird stories that happened in Canada, like the "Club of 7 Sponges" which were a club of writers in Montreal that would go around the bars on Saint-Denis Street and drink as much as they could and write at the same time.
