Re: pinnacle of tech evolution

Q: why do phones get thinner with more limited battery capacity and with irreplaceable batteries?
A: so we can add a magnetic external battery pack that recharges the internal one via induction.

I think I found the pinnacle of technological evolution.

I'm happy that I'll be part of two meetings this month in front of the EU Commission talking about decentralized social networks and the work we've done

I believe this conversation is an important one to have, and I'd like to expand on why below.

Do you use an RSS/Atom reader?

Boosts appreciated for sample size :)

This is a friendly reminder that you need to stretch.

Disclaimer: I am not dumb. I know it is not the same thing, and I have some answers to the previous questions. I’m mostly curious what other approaches exist to them.

I’ve seen and users complain about this (see pic), so here’s an question to all my fellow and advocates: why is this bad and how is it not the same thing as us pushing e.g. @matrix so people can talk to each other from accounts on distinct services?

NeoChat, KDE's native Matrix chat client, is out and comes with a new login page that detects the server configuration from your ID, stickers, message editing, and much more. Check out all that's new at

#FOSDEM21 is still ongoing and the number of users on the platform are as normally expected on site on ULB 😍

thx to @matrix for the impressive work 🍻
