Intéressant en effet, surtout si ça peut se propager ailleurs...
Malheureusement ce n'est pas libre, je ne sais pas ce qui empêche d'utiliser Serval?

@Khrys I'm not sure how bridgefy cannot be blocked when it presents you with this unskippable screen on startup:

@polychrome @Khrys

"… thanks to San Fransisco startup Bridgefy's Bluetooth-based messaging app." 🤔

May be they haven't ever heard about better alternatives.

@ButterflyOfFire @Khrys the only alternative I know of is FireChat and it's pretty dismal too.

There hasn't been much work into mesh messengers for mobile because there's not much of a monetization incentive (Hence fishing for personal details they don't need on Bridgefy).

We need a FOSS alternative.

@ButterflyOfFire @Khrys oh my god that's a helluva dark pattern. :blobtired:

But at least I can experiment with this now! :blobthinking:

@polychrome @Khrys Seems that over-Newsing can push people to use unknown apps.

#WriteYourOwn articles and push people to use bluetooth.

@Khrys it's also cool that they license the SDK, likely meaning that all your apps can chatter in a single transfer
